As a full-time Front-end Developer, your responsibilities include developing apps and websites for a wide range of (inter)national clients. Personal talent and drive are very important to us, but the team is what JUST is really about in the end
What do we offer you?

You will join a real team of 22 ambitious colleagues and work for clients that matter on a variety of projects. Because everything we make at Just is so much more than technology alone, you will work closely with art directors, strategists, UX designers, digital designers and front/back-end developers. Whether it's an app or a corporate website, or whether we are linking up different APIs for a campaign, almost everything is technically challenging. In addition to the internal team, you will of course also work together with the client, because we like to keep lines of communication as short as possible.
Additionally:
- You work on a MacBook Pro, which you can of course take home with you as well
- You have a nice workspace with one or two external monitors
- We are easily accessible by car and public transport (!)
- We are very much against overtime, because the best work is done when everything is planned well
- You will be working for clients we are all proud of, such as Jantje Beton, JOGG, Giro555, Literatuurmuseum, Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Paleis Het Loo, 113, COC Nederland and Simavi
- You are given room and budget to develop yourself further by attending courses and conferences
- You participate in the collective pension scheme
- Apart from the work floor, we also do a lot together. We go out for dinner and drinks, we organise get-togethers, we go running (5 km if the weather is nice) and every year we have a JUST weekend where we all go away for a few days!
- Mustn't forget to go home now and then because the office is such a nice place to be....
One day off every fortnight
We are convinced that you work better when you are comfortable in your own skin. That's why full-time with us means you have a day off every other week. Go relax, look at art or get your bike out of the grease!
What will you learn?

Because at JUST you will be directly included in a multidisciplinary team, you will not only get better at programming, you will also learn a lot from the contact with the other team members and the client.
How does the creative process work? How do we take client work to the next level? How do you realise your personal ambitions within a project? And how do you make sure you do this within the time available for an assignment?
Because you never stop learning, we make a budget available per employee which you can use to develop yourself further each year. Would you like to take a course, buy a book, or attend a React Native event with your team members? Suggest it and we will do it!
What do you need to be able to do?
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience (Or just a lot of knowledge and an appetite to go pop!)
- Excellent command of HTML, (S)CSS, JavaScript / Typescript
- You have an eye for detail and love animations (e.g. with GSAP)
- You have knowledge of Front-end frameworks such as React and React Native
- You have experience with GIT
- You work independently, are enterprising and take your own responsibility
